Programs

Throughout the year, Theatre Wakefield presents a variety of programs for all ages ranging from training workshops to heritage projects that provide professional learning and personal development opportunities… and fun too!

Over the years Theatre Wakefield has provided excellent opportunities for local area performing artists to perform and stage crew to develop their skills.

To date, Theatre Wakefield’s programs, workshops and clubs have included; Summer Film Camp (2009 -2015); Summer Theatre Camp (2015 -2017); Our Hidden Hills community heritage outreach projects (2009 – 2017), a variety of theatre training workshops; a tech club to develop sound and lighting skills, and finally the Theatre Wakefield's Improv group where participants learn acting techniques and character development through improv games and exercises.

The investment from the Municipality of La Peche has enabled Theatre Wakefield to grow, to adopt more inclusive activities, and to implement a business plan for long-term sustainability.
